2009/2010 STEPCHILD CHI BORG SNOWBOARD

Stepchild features a new series of reverse camber snowboards this season, the Chi Borg. With a reverse Kicker I Core and camber/ rocker these boards have a buttery feel that’s suited for parks and jib rides. Like the Jib Stick, the Chi Borg is pre-flexed going into turns, and ollies roll easy off the tail for smooth pop.

The 2009/2010 Stepchild Chi Borg Snowboard key features:

Armadillo Plate – This plate is a fiberglass re-enforcement layer in a diamond shape that is placed over the inserts.

Kicker I Core – Tip to tail fully computerized milled and profiled Poplar wood core gives a smooth flex distribution pattern.

Rocker – With 6mm of rocker, the Chi Borg is pressed like the bottom of a rocking chair. This pre-flexed setup gives the board an easy riding feel and does well in parks, setting up jibs and maneuvering in powder.
