2009/2010 STEPCHILD SIMON CHAMBERLAIN SNOWBOARD

Simon Chamberlains 5th season Pro Model with Stepchild.

True to his riding style and preferences, the Chamberlain features a centered stance, true twin profiling, and slightly directional nose shape, giving this board an upper hand on the face while taking full advantage of its twin setup in the park. Topped off with quadrax glass construction, a kicker III core and carbon stringers, this board is going to ollie the same on its 100th day of riding as it did on its first run.

The 2009/2010 Stepchild Simon Chamberlain Snowboard key features:

Armadillo Plate – This plate is a fiberglass re-enforcement layer in a diamond shape that is placed over the inserts.

Kicker III Core – Tip to tail fully computerized milled and profiled Poplar wood core with Beech rails and Beech insert strips gives a smooth and consistent flex pattern. The Beech rails give the board poppy flex and stable edge control. The insert strips are there for compression strength where the corner of the bindings can crush the wood. Stepchild uses 4 strips of high-density beech in this critical zone to increase its strength.

Pipe + Park + Powder = P3 – This board looks just like a twin, but has a slight directional freestyle shape. Designed to take on the park and pipe, and also handle great on powder days. This board is made for the all-around rider who cruises all types of terrain.

Carbon Stringers – The carbon stringers are added to the core to give some more pop and help maintain the flex and life of the board.
